E85 Powered Fg Xr6 Turbo = 405Kw

Recommended Posts

Hello ladies and gentleman

Just picked up my car this afternoon from Autotech in Granville after getting them to do a few mods as well as an e85 tune

Ended up with 405.1 kw. (Will post dyno report tomorrow)

Mods are as listed

Autotech work

Pw surge with walbro 460 and turbosmart fpr

Valve springs

Id1000s

Sct with the tune

Zf tune

Parts installed by me

Process west stage 1 intercooler kit (As supplied by ratter)

X- force 4 inch to 3.5 exhaust (eBay)

F6 turbocharger (forum member)

Flapper ported and 11.8lb actuator (MTQ sydney)

3 inch throttle body elbow (Chris @Rapid)

Factory air box with 4inch drain pipe inserted behind the headlight

Very happy with the power ATM and will need some tyres shortly (spins 1 2 3 and into 4th with the speedo over 200)

I will be heading to WSID to see how see goes. Will be a lot faster than the previous 12.5

Yeah for sure . You wont have any issues if you ever get pulled over . What boost are you running and how did the cooler cope at that power level?

Don't be surprised if it makes over 400 on e85.

Told ya !!!
Very good result considering the parts you have used.
When does she hit the strip?

I think it's around the 19 mark. Will get more details tomorrow though. Yeah I'm not keen on defects

Spiro said the cooler held up well. I'm prob gonna get an air temp sensor fitted. Not sure if it can be viewed in the sct ???

Yeah mate u were close lol. I'm gonna get some rims and tyres and go out in about 2 to 3 weeks. Unless I go on the street tyres only. (What's the street tyre fg record ? Lol)

Or just grab another gear keep on sliding lol.

Yeah et streets grip really well I've been running the same set for about 2000km ( a lot of those km have been on the freeway) and about 15 passes at the track and they're on the wear indicators now. You will tear them up a bit if the road surface is sh*t and you stand on it.

A lot of people suggest stainless. I went with mild as I know some one who has been using e85 in 6 cars for close to 3 years with mild steel and had no issues. If it rusts out. So be it lol

There is a t-MAP sensor fitted from factory. The PCM monitors manifold temp and it can be data logged.
