Solved

Bent turbo fin.

Grand prize goes to Turboboink.

Just had a look at the compressor wheel and something gone thru it and bent a few blades.

It could have happened ages ago as I never thrash it but have had the intake off a few times.

I guess I will find the culprit in the compressor side intercooler tank.

Thanks heaps. I don't normally put junk thru turbos so got me a bit stumped there.

I will get a video that records the sound before I change the turbo. I might actually keep the turbo on for a while to fool the Expensive Daewoo guys and tell them its turbo and supercharged.

The turbo shaft bearings are fine. No issue there. Must have been some rubber piece that went thru as no marks on the edges of the blade.
