Fitting 4" Exhaust

Has anybody here fitted a single 4" under an fg sedan? Is it a nightmare todo urself on stands?

From what I've heard it's a hoist kind of job - not the easiest fit.

One bloke in Mackay on this forum fit his up by parking his F6 with one side wheels up a gutter..

So I'm assuming it'd be easier on a lift.. But not impossible on stands..

It would be an absolute dog to change without a hoist!

I took the rear half off to remove the rear muffler and it would have been almost impossible because the way the rear section bends over the diff

I got mine in with stands and a jack in the garage..

hardest part is getting the old one out, if you want to in one piece that is..

I even fabbed up my own dump pipe as I got quoted 1700 for a custom dump not including orientating the gates and screamers

^ cost of custom dump would have been inflated due to owners desire to run two of the worlds largest 38mm gates

so you can get the standard out on stands then? in one peice? dont realy want to cut it up

You have to get the rear really high.

Fitting Nizpro 4 inch is easy. V band piece of cake
