Guest PaulM Guests Posted 13/01/04 12:52 PM Posted 13/01/04 12:52 PM I have never loved a car as much as this one.I have owned a series of Fords and had been a devoted brand loyalist. I left the stable a few years ago totally unimpressed with the AU and drove a Magna untill recently.I still have the first Ford I ever owned parked in the garage, a 1968 Fairlane that came off the Parliament House Ranks (though don't raise that subject with my other 40%)I also have kept a 1979 Fairlane because I believed it was the last decent car Ford were going to make. I owned all of the -XF series and thought they all drove like taxis. There was absolutely no way that 1978 fairlane was going to be sold, no matter how many people knocked on my door and waved cash at me. It is a classic and they don't build a motoring experience like that anymore. Now that I have the T, the Fairlane is for sale. (Seriously, pm me me if you want to make an offer.)The BA XR6T is by far the best car that Ford have ever made available to the common man. I can't wait for series II.

I love my car. I love my car. I love my car. I love my car. I love my car. I love my car. I love my car. Get the point?I could have voted for two of the options in the poll - "Great car inspite of a few minor problems" or "Best car I have ever owned". I voted for best car I've owned though, because that sounds better!I love my car... oops, already said that. My friends love it. Everybody looks admiringly at it. It blows away Holdens! It looks great. It sounds great. It has great potential for mods. Need I go on?There are just so many good things about this car. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending an XR6T to somebody.:D :D :D :D
