Mmmm....... Landau :ermm:

We almost bought a "Street Machine" quality, fully restored Landau, came sooooo close..... Would have been a hell of a weekend cruise car.

But then I got the "XR6 bug" <hence the nic>. The rest is history. :ermm:

Mmmm, XC Coupe....

But my BA is special., I'd never go back, unless by some God forsaken miracle I run into money and can afford other toys......Geez one can only dream......stricken with a life of poverty I'm afraid.

I have had my XR6T for about 4 months now, and while it is a great car it isn't the best I have ever driven. That honour would have to go to a BMW M3.

Apart from a faulty water pump (Replaced under warranty) and the dreaded Brake Shudder I am pleased with the car.

I have to say the best thing about it is when you pass people they swing around to see if it is a Turbo, and then you see the look of envy appear on their face. Nice!!!

When I walk to where the car is parked, I stop and look at it.

When I park the car, I can't help but turn around and look at it.

I look forward to a drive and drive for no other reason than to drive.

Am I happy?

Hell yes.

I couldn't have put it better than that...... :smilielol:

Ok, now that I've calmed down I'll put my 4.0 litres here.

I can't choose an option, I'm stuck between Best car I've ever owned and, Great car although I've had a few to many problems.

It's the third new car I've owned (2 pulsars due to write off), and new cars always are better for me than old cars because they look better.

He's the fastest car that I've ever owned. Previously my fastest car was my 1982 nissan skyline which was just a straight 6 2.4L manual.

I haven't owned anything bigger and more luxurious either.

I know I love him when I put my foot down and the 2xclunk stops and I take off. I know I love him when I wash him, and way I talk about him (notice I say HIM not IT), and every time I park the car I get out turn around and admire him.

So for those reasons he's the best car I've ever owned.

However, because of all the problems I've listed and more in my other thread he has put a big doubt in my mind.

I hate the fact he has cost me so much money, the fact that I have lost so much time and enjoyment out of him because he is at the dealers. I hate how he drives with all the squeaks, rattles, vibrations.

I am obsessed with Gadan, before I got him, when I got him and still 7 months later.

I spend on average 6 - 8 hours washing him, sometimes as low as 4 hours, others up to 15 hours.

I get into big fights with anyone who tries to tell me that he sucks. I've lost friends because of these fights, or lost contact with others because they see me as obsessed. Its the main point of my conversations. My wife is sick of it too.

And then to get into his drivers seat and hear a clunk, put my brake pedal to the floor, see my roof trim is falling off, put it in reverse and clunk out (only strengtening others arguments when they see it happen) he breaks my heart.

For that reason he is possibly the worst car I've ever had.

Cro, you need to go on a holiday mate! The only reason to lose your friends with a car like that is because you've raced them and pulled so far away they've lost sight of you!

I second that motion. get back to reality please, it's just a car when its all said and done. I think you took the "cant get enough of this" advertising too seriously....

My wife is sick of it too.

Ditto,

She really hates it when I call the T "darling".

She hates seeing me sitting and staring at it.

She hates seeing me carress it as I walk past it.

She hates listening to me make statements like f#ck I love this car.

She wishes I paid her as much attention.
