Yep, factory turbo means not touched, no bigger comp cover, no wastegate porting and flapper mods etc etc.

So in a stock turbo class, would you expect a stock turbo FG F6 to be up against a stock turbo FG XR6 or would then XR be allowed to run up to a GT35/40?

Also, how would you check at scruteneering if a turbo has been ported and flapper mod done?

You cant , but you can tell if it has a bigger comp cover and wheel.

That's why I think it's best to judge "stock" as being the manifold and allowing any turbo that fits the manifold. Otherwise it becomes far too difficult to police.

I don't think running a .7 front housing is a big improvement from the .5, and porting and flapper mod I thought was more to help control boost. A standard turbo with no mods on a factory mounted custom manifold would see greater improvements in power then a bigger front housing will.
