hey CJF077 when you say your 30GB works but your 160GB doesn't...

by work on the 30GB do you mean the audio comes through the stereo but it still says AUX1 on the ICC? Because that isn't true working (that what's mine doing now with my 60GB iPod Photo), it should say unsupported on the ICC.

When an iPod is truly detected (even an unsupported one) you cant access AUX1 on the ICC it says iPod.

cheers

EDIT: clarify 60GB iPod Photo

Got my dealer to give mine a software update. Haven't had the ipod freeze on me for a week now. previously was happening at least once or twice per week and it seems to hold its charge better as well.

Mine has worked well until I pressed 'repeat' After listening to the song a couple of times I pressed 'repeat' off, however now every time I get back in and turn the car back on the 'repeat' button is on. Bloody frustrating. Any clues - Dealer hasnt a clue.

Problem a dumb question - but have you checked the setting on your actual ipod - unplug it, you'll probably find it's set to "repeat - one".

I've got a Classic and I find that the settings on the actual ipod seem to overwrite the ICC so that each time you turn the car on, the ipod settings become the default - same seem to work with "shuffle" (random). - had me confused for a little while too.

yeah I have a touch aswell, perhaps that is the issue? I have also found that it can do it with the normal seek Up button. Its only sometimes, was trying to work out if the steering wheel button is two stage but I don't think so...

Not found a cure. I will talk to the dealer next week when it goes in for its first service let you know then.

Hey guys, just entered the Ford turbo world with the recent purchase of a G6E Turbo. Unfortunately my iPhone 3G is not compatible with car. Does the software update also provide compatibility to this model?

I test drove a vehicle the other day and tried a 3g iPhone and a 4gb Mini. Both worked however displayed unsupported. Has anyone connected an ipod which will displayed track information etc and let you navigate from playlist to playlist via the vehicle controls? If so what type of ipod have you used?
