unfortunatly you cannot find out about availability of number plates which is a pain in the a55, and im not ringing them every time I think of something that I might like!!!

The biggest problem you have is QLD is the price of the plates.

Prestige plates e.g. FPV_F6 (mine) or HSV_SUX cost $2200. If you choose a 3a2n (eg FPV 98), 2n3a (eg 27 0KW) or a 3a3n within certain combos (e.g. FPV 098) it will cost about $300. www.ppq.com.au

Where are you located?

I'm in Vic and there isn't really any con's as we don't have to pay an annual fee or anything to have personlised plates but they seem to have to in other states...
