Ratter, how would you be able to tell if so called "genuine" coil packs on ebay are in fact fake Ford ones?

you normally can't until they die in a short time period, but unless the local dealers are getting into me with their price, the ebay ones at one stage were quite a bit cheaper than we could buy them for

I got a Ford set off ebay for about $280 and they have been good, and looked like they had genuine part numbers etc. Can never be sure I suppose?

can never be sure, stickers and labels are easy to reproduce these days

Try find "mikesmodelcars" on eBay, genuine ford in genuine packaging and correct model number etc, $200 delivered, this was about 3 months ago. I just pm'd him and it came with a receipt from coffey ford.
