Hey guys, sorry for reviving an old thread

I'm in the process of setting my car up so I can tune it using vcm. It currently has a generic sct tune in it making around 360-370rwkw (going off 1/4mile time), I installed the walbro 400lt e85 compatible pump in my standard swirl pot, the car runs fine the way it is but I had a hunch that it wasn't running at 4bar anymore so I will need the adjustability before I started playing with the tune.

Anyway, I bought the 034 adjustable reg and I got a fuel pressure gauge also. I put the gauge on first to see what the fp is currently, it was at 86psi and dropped slightly when I opened the throttle, this is obviously not good, I havnt logged any fuel trims as yet.. Anyway I put the new adjustable reg in and I could only get it down to about 65psi, so I'm assuming their is a restriction somewhere, possibly part of the swirl pot?

Have you come across this? What can be done?

Thanks Joe

In the return line in the top of the swirl pot there's a ball valve that needs to be removed. Also the back return jet thing on the bottom of the pot need to be modified by in creasing the outlet hole size.

Forgive my ignorance, but some of the upgraded rails I've seen for sale are a fix to a potential restriction with a stock rail?

FiftyOne - Fuel Pressure Reg is a seperate piece, it's the biggest restriction.

11.81@124 you can do the maths.

By the way I can't fault the tune, I understand it not perfect and I know the reasons that it's not ideal, but it has never skipped a beat, so I'm not interested in hearing any trolling about it, I've heard it all before.
