Make your bank password different to all of them as well.Generally when you sign up to a website, you provide your email address to them. It would be easy for a malicious webmaster to log your password in plain text format to read and match to email address.Similarly if you do get hacked in an account on a specific site, they will try it out for your email etc and bingo.Once upon a time a "friend of mine" found out that the password for Battlefield 2 logins (you know those remember password tick boxes everything has...) was saved in a common and reversible encryption format. Got a hold of a program that could decrypt said format, decrpyted the password out of the config file in their girlfriend's game account folder and found it worked for email and facebook. Logged in and deleted all the emails he ever sent to her because she wouldn't move on and stop hassling him. Also found later that the pictures of her snatch which he took, she'd sent to a bloke who they'd argued about her flirting with when they were still together. Now I'm not saying it was the noble thing for him to do, but I understand why he did it.
