Cruiser.craig Member 6 Member For: 11y 9m 30d Gender: Male Location: Bunbury W.A Posted 06/11/12 09:40 AM Share Posted 06/11/12 09:40 AM So basiclly what I want to be able to do is pop 3rd gear from a standing start,but obviously id have to sit it on the limiter for a while for the boost to build up and I cant stand that lolit can spin 3rd when moving I just have to floor it... wait for boost to build up and pop the clutch and what do ya no it spins!so I want to know if anyone knows anything about putting 2 steps on xr6t's...like where to get one... how to install etc etcor if there is anything else that's on the market that will allow me to set my revs while my clutch is pushed in thenwhen I let go it reverts back to its normal limiter.any help at all would be greatly appreciatited.cheers Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'd also be keen to sus this out a bit lol my old bf with the zf loved third gear powerskids but now I got a manual I can only do it in second from stand still .. I thought about diff gears maybe ? The issues I have had are centred around the car stumbling as it comes off the two step. I narrowed this down to the .75mm plug gap fouling up with fuel. I have fitted a boost a spark to allow me to run a 1.1mm plug gap so once I get the okay back from the guys that make the WOT BOX i will be wiring it in line with the Boost a Spark and will try again.I could build 9.5lb's of boost @ 3500 with the WOT BOX3rd gear skids off the line in a manual are going to murder your cv's mate.
