Single Borsch 044 To Aeromotive A1000

What would be a better option. Putting a 2nd 044 pump on a surge tank or replacing the single with an a1000? Would the cost be similar?

Go the A1000 in case one of the 044 fails and plus its a very good pump I have one on my fg CMS can modify the plazmaman surge and make a bracket to fit give them a call

Would have to check what the 044 was drawing. from memory cable is 2.5mm I think so would say the cable is only good for 20ishA and from memory has a 20A fuse. So would have to check what the A1000 draws... You could roll the dice with a bigger fuse and 99% of the time it will be fine but with the heat in the engine bay ect I would recommend going to a 4mm cable. Just my opinion.

Maybe someone has already tested all this?

lol lucky to drive the ute once a month as is. not really fussed about noise but it is rubber mounted believe me.. plus going for a retune on tuesday for new turbo.

the way you have it plumbed in the pic is going to transfer a lot of noise

Yeah I run the A1000 (on rubber legs and nice and quite) plus the PW rail and Turbo Smart FR1200 and got to say the fuel system is well and sorted now!

Hey Veva do you happen to know what fttings you have on the suction side of the pump (between the pump and tank)?

If you could fill me in on whats neededI wanna pretty much replicate it so I can do away with the solid elbow I have similar to the setup in post 13.

I tried mounting the whole surge tank on a rubber base but even that hasnt softened the blow its seriously a joke how loud it is.... I took my brother for a drive in the car last night and he wa hysterically laughing every time I changed gears due to the overwhelming noise.
