Hi guys I posted on here ages ago about rebuilding my BF foon it started off with 380 kw's when I bought it but the motor was stock internally and a few factors including a faulty knock sensor cause piston 1 to crack. So was just going to be a bottom end rebuild but has been blown out to a full on rebuild

So here's what the new setup will be hopefully will be back on the road by end of November

Carrillo oversize pistons

Spool rods

ARP rod bolts main bolts and head bolts

Balanced and polished crank and bottom end

Spool oil pump gears

Atomic street girdle

ACL race bearings

Crow cam race valve springs

Stainless steel valves and collets and seals

Atomic stage 4 cams

Power bond balancer

Head flowed

Plazmaman intake plenum

Plazmaman billet fuel rail

Aeromotive fuel regulator

2200cc injectors

GT 4294 turbo on ETM custom manifold and external wastegate

SCT 3 tune and gearbox service and tune

The car already has a Process West stage 3 cooler and race intake

Bosch 044 pump and surge tank

4 inch dump

Peter at RPM dyno at morayfield with be putting the car back together and tune it

Will keep you updated as it comes together

Should do 500 easily especially with an extra fuel pump or 2 :)

Is it a zf?

Yes it's a ZF which I know won't hold up to long just going to talk to the dyno guy as to what to do I know I have got to do new tail shaft, input shaft and possibly clutches and stall but just want to try and keep costs down as the build started out as a 4 grand rebuild has now blown out to about 17 grand :(

Yeah that happens lol.

Theres plenty of options for the zf these days & a stall isnt necassary with the combo you have. Hardy spicer do tailshaft for these for under a grand so nothing major there. Are ya doing anything about ya fuel system?

I had not thought about the fuel system and thought the 044 and surge would be ok for now. I might have to only tune it to about 420kw's at first until I get the box work done and tail shaft and then maybe look at a second pump like the process west one

Yeah you'll definalty need another to make the most out of the gtx42 but will still easily go 420 on pump fuel. Just be aware even with 2 x 044's your limit on e85 is low 800's but theres always leaded fuel if ya dont want to go mental with the fuel system

haha I stopped counting years ago. If it wasnt for Jamie things could be alot worse these days that's for sure. I dont regret it but if I had my time again I wouldnt do it. The fun begins now though :)
