FordXR6Turbo Dyno Day - CANCELLED

FPVFGS kindly gave me a contact at Blackburn Automotive Repairs who are keen to do a Dyno Day for FordXR6Turbo.

Date: Saturday 18 August, 2012 (CANCELLED)

Time: Starts 8am - finish up about 2pm

Where: Blackburn Automotive Repairs, 4 George Street, Blackburn, Phone: (03) 9878 6111

Cost: $50 per car per strapdown (get about 3 runs per strapdown - depends on numbers attending - about 20 mins per car)

Max no. cars: 15 (so post up below and I will PM details for your $30 deposit - pay balance of $20 on the day in cash)

We need a min of 10 cars or the day won't run by the way - so that's at least 10 deposits (guess they've been there done that).

The last one they did was a Expensive Daewoo SS Dyno Day from what Mick - owner of Blackburn Automative Repairs - was telling me. Sounded like they had huge fun

BBQ available on the day - up to you if you want to buy a snag or drink - nominal cost to break even or BYO stuff to put on the Barbe

Mick there runs a DynoDynamics and you will get a print out of your runs.

Plenty of parking around his shop on Saturdays.

They mainly specialise in Old Muscle cars, auto transmissions, LPG conversions.

Spectators are welcomed. Pics and vids are okay.

Normal cruise and event rules apply - you are responsible for any damage to your own car by having Blackburn Automotive Repairs running it on the dyno.

I'll be in if I still have my car but I'm guessing this will fill up before I can make the decision.

Put me down as a spectator. No point putting the car on the dyno when its completely stock.

If my car is ready by then I would be keen but not sure if I can get in that time frame. If there are still spots and my car is ready then I will enter otherwise I will spectate for sure.
