Prob need a tune regardless to get the best torque improvement, and if you don't have an XCAL3 you're looking at about $1500...

Or a VCM tune with a hi-flow/punched cat?

Under a grand.. You could probably get a VCM tune and either (a) punched/gutted Cat or (b) get a cheap 100csi cat off ebay and get it welded in..

Should also add that a K&N Panel Filter in the Stock airbox would be ideal..

vcm tune is around $800 bucks.....that would leave just 200 for buyin the cat which you can get a venom 4" for about 190 I think....but install will put you over haha

Many other brands of cats on the market.. Can get 200cells for just over $100..

Is a Xcal Tune on a BA II gonna be any better than getting a VCM tune? Basically want to save having to buy a Xcal as my goal was to get it tuned once(& hence save some $$$ in the process) & put that saved cash towards a cat or injectors & keep that tune. But if Xcal produces a better tune/performance then I'd reconsider.

would a 2009 xr6 turbo fg stock be faster then a 2010 ss ve v8 stock ?

really ? geez that's pretty good...I jumped in a mates ss ve 2010 ride at work gave her a rev and dayum she felt and sounded like she was ready to go blastic....I guess the xr6 turbos are like ninjas silent but violent
