Took mine out yesterday, took about 5min. Easy job. I'm actually surprised with the difference it's made with low throttle driving, feels a lot better, and feels like it's pulling harder and getting onto boost better.

wouldn't it be easier and more power efficient to run an after market cat? (if the car does need a tune or retune?)

also from what ive gotten from the psots is that the euro4 started in april/may 2010 onwards or is it july?

I dont think a tune was req. going by what one of the guys said with back to back testing on the dyno + if you know someone with a die grinder this mod costs $0.

was boost error logged on the dyno to know what really was going on?

So taking the ring out Ratter you think will affect boost on a stock car? even after the cat

with a stock tune the ecu will try to correct it back to the required level, but can only do so far

well today I took the ring out of mine [euro 4] the car has a cai , aftermarket cat back system and now no ring so far so good took it for a drive today no lights came up and the car feel like it goes better well my traction light was coming on a lot more then normal :]
