Seems to be common the exhaust designers get a good system then someone down the line needs to meet a new requirement and they add a cheap fix taking away from the original designGuess the good news is makes it easy to return to designed and sure beats having to ditch the whole system to support moderate power like holden's
slygary Member 31 Member For: 13y 8m 5d Gender: Male Location: Geelong Posted 19/05/13 09:52 AM Posted 19/05/13 09:52 AM I have a Dec 2011 FG MKII ute and I removed my restrictor ring. It took a bit of patience doing it at home in the shed with one side of the car on stands lying on my back with a dye grinder taking out the welds. Took me about 1 hour to do. And yes I it has made a small difference. Hope the photos will help. 2
