Just comparing your dyno sheet to a few others I've seen, yours makes very impressive figures a lot earlier than any I've seen lately.

Definitely a great result.

yeah, Dion done a great job tuning the car.He has tuned quite afew for E85 now, and getting great results.

Great result.......got me fired up with andy the other day.

Havent given much attention to my baby of late but reading some of the times and result I better pick it up.

Have to catch up one night.....good to see some of the boys I know on here getting great power too. :locomotive:

kinda defies the fact of buying all the cooler and piping etc if the original ones do the trick.

Very impressive result, again just goes to show you don't need to spend big on all the brand names to get a result.

kinda depends on what you want to use the car for doesnt it?

if you want it to run a dyno number and maybe a 1/4 run that is compromised then sure the stock cooler will do the job.

hell you dont even need an intercooler to do those things!

but if you want a car that's good at the track and is also a good daily with little compromise then a better cooler is a must.

no dout the stock cooler is costing 10kw to 15kw at this power level.I dont mind runing a compromised 1/4.

I cant see how its compromised as a daily,I bearly have to hit boost to drive it around.

Its a good and safe daily for me now how it is.Its not tuned on the 'edge'.

Charge intake temps have been checked across the 1/4(+25c by the end of the run) and E85 will help get the most out of the stock cooler.

Heaps of people run stock or monza coolers, unless you drive around on WOT all day you could get away without it as has been proven.

I just meant the F6 with bigger turbo, cooler and injectors is the best base you can get for easy power.

It's all due to the fuel, don't think it would have run that time on 98 even with Melbournes cool weather.

The heatsoak would have overcome the little cooler.

I think Jetsnot tried it and as his tuner suggested it fell over at half track.

ok so the standard cooler out of an f6 cant handle say about 310-20kw atw with the standard 98 octane fuel and not e85?

looking at the cooler from the front it seems bloody big?maybe not that wide but big!

also James333 I noticed you still running the factory air cleaner top hat and pipes except for the turbo one which you've changed, what other pipes have you changed from factory.

350kw is a mad power but im happy with the second result you got, plus my misses drives the car more than I do so I kinda want some power but not too much for her and the kids? do you have any advice on what I should be doing?any advise would be appreciated!

310/320rwkw sounds about right on 98 on 15/16lbs.

The cooler is a stock f6,its got the coolerworx hot and cold side pipes(for reliability), and the v8 lower airbox/snorkle(6kw?)

You should be happy just doing the basics, cat, cooler pipes and a 13lb /98 tune.Should be around the 300rwkw mark and better on fuel too.Just do your research and go to a repeatable tuner.
