Pricing For 2012 Fg Mkii

Is it possible to get a 2012 FG MkII G6ET brand new for less than $50K? The best I've been offered (unofficially) so far is $54,500 drive away by a salesman who wanted me to sign on the day. They're on car sales for about that though so they can definitely go lower once I negotiated. I want to get it at or below the $50K mark if possible though...

As far as list price and everything, it's all stupid. Drive away price off the MLP for me is $61,xxx but apparently Ford are offering the dealer (and others in Sydney, no idea about other areas) $4,50

$50,500 drive away (Vic) for a 2011 plate car is the best I've had so far and I've been looking hard. for 2012 platers I've had $52k drive away

I might have to wait another month then so it's closer to the end of the financial year. The best written quote I've got was $56,750 drive away but the guy said he could improve it once I was ready to purchase. $56K is above what I want to spend though, I want it as close to $50K as possible. It's not that I can't afford more, I just don't want to spend more than that.

Manufacturers list price for fg2 g6et is $56,235 just some info for you guys to have in the back of your head when chasing prices at dealers.

Or you could get chummy with an employee and use their discount LOL mid $40's then..

As far as list price and everything, it's all stupid. Drive away price off the MLP for me is $61,xxx but apparently Ford are offering the dealer (and others in Sydney, no idea about other areas) $4,500 in rebates for the G6ET so he was happy to offer $56,500 off the bat. The best unofficial I could get was $54,500 so I'm thinking come sale time I'll struggle to get it below $52,500...

Hmmm, maybe I'll have to source myself a Ford employee, haha. I guess they dont have too many IT jobs going in NSW, most would be in Head Office.

Or a secondhand F6?

There will be financial sales on if you can hold out the 2 or so months?

And probably still talk them down a bit more.
