I envy those guys with the balls to do this type of extreme sports. Its something you do when you are young and dumb but it kept a smile on my face for the whole clip.

interesting timing of this video

f*ck just realised that's jeb, watched it yesterday but the vid is so grainy and canst see sh*t.

it just popped up on smh.com.au as well and that's when I realised.

apparently he only broke both his legs so is in good spirits.

sounds like an extremely close call, lucky to get away this time.

glad to hear he is ok!

That looks pretty awesome. I'm sure he can tension his wings for a little more lift if need be.

The woman that used to repair my parachute did base jumping. Her last jump was to see if her mate who went first was ok. He didn't make it. Had an off heading opening into the side of the building a couple of hundred feet up.

Skydiving on the other hand is fairly safe :)

Geez mate, dont jinx yourself........ha ha

Not sure if "safe" and "skydiving" go together that well, but relatively speaking I see your point!

Actually...saying that, a few jumps before my last jump I watched a guy bounce. That may have contributed to my giving it up but I also got a family and a house. Did about 170 jumps so the buzz was wearing off anyway.

SCUBA, horse riding and open road cycling are apparently far more risky.

But like they say.... if at first you don't succeed don't take up skydiving.

in a doco I watched on him, he said there are only 2 things that will stop him flying, quadraplegia and death.

guess he is still good to keep going! :sungum:
