He didn't make it. Had an off heading opening into the side of the building a couple of hundred feet up.Skydiving on the other hand is fairly safe

That may have contributed to my giving it up but I also got a family and a house. Did about 170 jumps so the buzz was wearing off anyway.SCUBA, horse riding and open road cycling are apparently far more risky.But like they say.... if at first you don't succeed don't take up skydiving.
