Gents!

Has anyone tried making their own air intake? What I'm after is the nominal size of pipe used, the lengths and the angles involved.. as well as nipples that need to be welded on intake pipe! The idie is to go right from the cross over down to the end where the pod will sit.

One thing to remember is that the outside diamter of the pipe will need to fit the inside diameter of the the pod filter adaptor.

Can anyone shed some light?!

Just do some research (of other intakes) mate and copy them, pretty simply stuff. Only place you'll get caught up is the air return and oil breather plugs (if you can't alloy weld) but you can get away without having either.

Entrance to turbo is 3 inch but you can expand to what ever you want.

Farout, I never looked at it that way haha. 50$ for materials and 100$ for the filter. I guess I did save a few pennies :P

Yeah it's a racket alright, it's all the R&D that goes into it that boosts the price. You can see how many scientist's it would of taken to come up with that one.
