Anyone got any suggestions with my cam upgrade. Standard or.....?

Plenty of fg's with wear on the cam lobes, like mine. No failures so far though that im aware of. So dont bother maybe?

My G6 came up with low 300s with 12lbs boost on a good 37plus WA day. The usual mods injectors, cooler & aftermarket cat. I am pretty happy with that & it has the low end torque of a tractor now! I am not fussed about the numbers, more interested on how it drives, which is very nicely thank you!

This is going to sound stupid but does the tune determine the level of boost that you run?

Yes it does, boost is controlled electronically on our engines by a solinoid...

what do the FG's run standard in terms of boost? 8-10 pound?

The std 3576 will always fall over at the top end on our engines. Just not big enough.

Its good for like 30psi....on like a 2.0l

No idea, I was under the assumption they all bleed of at the end.

The standard turbo's run out of puff at around 320 anyway. Going to change it once the treasury permits.
