  1. I've just ordered a set of kumho ps91s, it will be interesting to see how they measure up. Still on the factory Dunlop sport max which seem to let go really easy on fairly light throttle inputs.
  2. I would talk to your tuner, cooler, injectors cat you would easily make those numbers. I believe the standard induction side will handle your target.
  3. I was starting to have funny things happen to the icc every now and then. I did a couple of resets via disconnecting the battery which would fix it. I was getting a different issue next time. I spoke to garage who suggested I change out the battery which was around 23 mths old. No more problems to date.
  4. Went through the exercise of updating from an fg. mk2 to an X , not worth the cost of changing. I decided to spend the $ on brakes, shocks and engine mods instead. Now I have a fg that stops, rides nice and accelerates for a fraction of the cost.
  5. Took the G6 for a 400km drive out on the highway today, pretty impressed it returned 9.6/100 average with several bursts overtaking trucks & grey nomads towing caravans.
  6. What sort of kw are you chasing?
  7. The grin never really went away, but now it definitely a fair bit wider. It now has a little bit more of a growl and tends to chirp the tyres a fair bit more.
  8. My G6 came up with low 300s with 12lbs boost on a good 37plus WA day. The usual mods injectors, cooler & aftermarket cat. I am pretty happy with that & it has the low end torque of a tractor now! I am not fussed about the numbers, more interested on how it drives, which is very nicely thank you!
  9. Don't how much it uses, don't care........... I just enjoy driving it! When the gauge says feed me, I comply!
  10. Well I resisted the urge for a whole 14mths! Yesterday saw the G6 at the tuner for a little tweak. I asked for a nice soft tune with plenty of safety margin - 312kw at 12ib boost. The usual mods - cooler, injectors & cat. I left the rest of the exhaust stock. Pretty happy with the outcome, especially since that result was run up on a very warm high 30s day and pretty average fuel (my wife gets confused & often puts 95 in it). Dyno printout.pdf
  11. The grin just keeps getting bigger ............ love the whoosh power this thing dishes out.........and all the buttons & gadgets are great!
  12. The more I drive it, the bigger the grin.................
  13. Picked up the G6ET today. A little bit stronger than the G6 & has a few more buttons to play with!
  14. Its Vanish coloured & just speced as they come out the factory door. I don't know if there are any real options (other than cables / tow hitch / boot mats etc) you can add to the package, they seem to come with all the fruit these days. The G6 is off to find a new home via the dealer.
