July 15, 201115 yr #1 Hey guys,New to the forum (said hi in newbie thread) and also new to XR6Ts. Just keen to hear if people actually take their cars back to Fraud for servicing at the 15k itnervals or do you have another mechanic do it. Never really had anything to do with Ford Service before, are they any good? Do they charge like wounded bulls?
July 15, 201115 yr #3 Fraud are to be used for warranty jobs ONLY, get your log book servicing done elsewhere, but keep every invoice.
July 15, 201115 yr #4 It's rather silly to just claim that all Ford service centres are hopeless. No doubt some are, but many aren't.It's equally as silly to assume that all independent workshops are better. My dealer is fantastic. Reasonably priced and are happy for me to supply whatever parts or oils I want for servicing. Their knowledge of the vehicle is excellent and the job is always clean and tidy.
July 15, 201115 yr #6 With stupid. The Ford guys know these things inside out. It's just the customer service and pricing can sometimes be very average. Although mine is serviced by Pit Lane, and they do a fanastic job.
July 15, 201115 yr #7 That would be the exception not the rule as sad as it is to say. There is no rule.
July 16, 201115 yr #8 used 4 different dealers in Sydney. All sh*t.One even fried the clutch on my previous Phoon and the kents tried to stich me for 5kyou could smell it when they dropped it off , farkersRule.Warranty or off to your tuner.
July 16, 201115 yr #10 Ok I agree there are some good ones out there, but I'd say the majority are useless. The Fraud dealers where I am don't really know squat about the vehicles so I either do it myself or if I don't want to do it take it to my tuner who has been playing with these things for ages and knows about them.Best idea is to go around and find who you are comfortable with for servicing, you should be able to tell after talking to them and gauging their knowledge.
