Ahh SWEET Clintons doing teh course too! I have been meaning to give hm a bell regarding when he can have a play with the trans in my car too lol. I can see he is going to be a busy man.

All tuners are going to have to do the training course, special firmware to program the X3 device will only be avaliable to tuners that do the training course.

Do automatic experts/builders run the course? Or is it just software related.

The course is very involved and as stated unless a tuner comes to the course they will no be able to calibrate the transmission

I wonder if the cost of a custom tune would go up? I assume it might, as they have to spend more time on tuning.. Just seems with the ZF's it seems more involved..

Yes like all things that take time a cost will be involved

But it will be your choice if you want the trans calibrated or not

yeh from what the king told me a standard zf changes to first from 2nd at 3km/h it can be changed up to 15km/h(or anywhere practical) and basically anything is now possiable with this software

how much power can the zf handle??? I am aiming for just over 300 does the zf's handle that power easly or will it let go at some point and I will have to re-build???
