Can anyone recommend anywhere. I just dont want to travel to Frankston or the otherside of the city to get things done. Thanks guys

Unfortunately a vibration resulted after the work was completed but was quickly identifed as an unbalanced right rear wheel (weights must have fallen off the wheel) and quickly rectified at no charge on the second visit.Nice bunch of guys. Dealt with John McAlinden. They quoted 280.00 for a service but I stuck with Nizpro (387.00 fixed price service) for my engine/turbo work as my upgrades were installed by Nizpro last April. But for any mechanical/suspension work I'd return to Herrod Motorsport no problem at all (only forty minutes from my place compared to an hour ten to Nizpro). Now she may not have prepared the car, but I'm sure she could put you in touch with who ever did.Now if you want your street car serviced locally, Herrod do extremely good work and are very professional at what they do, rumor has it too that they know a little about the software on these cars and supply technical support to tuners australia wide, they also develop and supply product to suit these cars. Rumour even has it that a QLD race team owner, whom I imagine possibly has a few mechanics on his payroll, even gets his personal car taken there to be looked after.I'm sure Herrods can take care of your car in a professional and promt manner. 30/01/11 02:19 AM30/01/11 02:19 AM #6 Author Thanks for the advice so far...I appreciate even some of the other performace workshops giving advice and not trying to sell their own. I would love to take it to Nizpro or even pitlane but I cant justify travelling that far to leave the car and then have to travel back to pick it up if you know what I mean. In sydney a friend of mine takes his subaru sti to Tunehouse which from what ive seen with his car is an awsome workeshop and they give a full report on the car right now to how much percent of the brake pads are left. I have never seen such a comprehencive report on a car that's had a logbook service done. I would love a workshop like that here in Melbourne. The reason I suggested Herrod is because they are about 10 minutes away from me and im curious on people opinions about them. Thanks again
30/01/11 02:32 AM30/01/11 02:32 AM #7 Weapon Im in Werribee and am driving to Bayswater tomorrow to drop my car with Simon. Travel doesnt worry me. They built the car and know what they did and didnt do. Plus they own me a rocker cover bolt.I cant and wont compare tuners cause I am sure they all have their detractors and supporters. Its a personal thing. I get on with Simon and Dave at Nizpro while others don't.But I think once you try someone, you are either happy or you arent.

30/01/11 04:37 AM30/01/11 04:37 AM #9 Author Yeah I don't really want to put down any tuner or workshop, I am more after experiences and what you guys have seen personally from taking your cars there. I have had my car tuned by bluepower just recently and I am very happy with there tuning and work, not to mention they're great guys. The only issue I felt not 100% about was there general servicing as I don't believe they are fully set up for it. I didn't get any documentation or reports at all.
