Sounds like similar dramas Smurf had on the Snowies cruise, in the end diagnosed & fixed by resident driveline guru P@sy as a wheel speed sensor out of its bracket.

Something so relatively simple but it gets you all

Yeah Tab, we actually thought something like that had happened that whatever Rus hit had broken something or dislodged something.

I made the comment though that if it was an older car, say an LH Torana, you wouldn't have these issues. Engines were just suck and blow. If it had fuel and spark you had go.

Computers are fine...when they work.

We were lucky this time. But Rus missed out on some really good roads and I felt bad for trying to do a good deed and it nearly breaking his car. :w00t2:

I was just so glad when the faults cleared. Anyway, all is good now.

I'd like to echo Rusty's comment regarding support for cruises.

We spend a lot of money on or cars, and even if yours is stock, we join this forum to support others, get information and just share an interest. I have met some great people and done some amazing things in the past 12 months that I normally wouldn't have done simply due to my involvment.

You don't have to go on every cruise, but I'm sure that once you have been on 1, you will want to go again.

Everyone is made welcome, we are all interested in the same type of car and its just an enjoyable day or 2 days or whatever the cruise period.

Rusty was as crook as a dog yesterday and he managed to come along with Adam and I even though it was a "recky" and not a cruise, so make some time, set aside a day and come cruisin'. You wont know what your missing until you rock up, and if you've been on one before you know how much fun we have.

:stupid:

Geez you don't even need a car, just bum lifts with other people

But in all seriousness they are great fun and once you go on one you'll be hooked.
