So basically it suppose to feel a bit linear on stock boost and when

the boos is up to 14 psi or so it will be a bit different?

I remember even my old STi felt a bit linear when I turn the boost to 8-9 psi.

The power delivery was very different on 16psi.

I'm wondering if it is the same for xr6 t.

The reason you think its slow is because there is sweet f*ck all turbo lag you have full boost from pretty much anywhere, where as in an sti you plant your foot and you prob wont see full boost till around 4k (1bar) so it FEELS like the car is going faster because of the sudden surge in power.

That's partly the reason why.

The other part is that the STi has a small engine so you really notice when the turbo isn't on song.

The XR6T has a 4L engine so there's still a fair bit of go there in N/A form before the turbo comes on, so you don't notice the difference as much.

As others have said the tune will decide how the car drives.

Neck snapping power delivery might feel fast, but it won't do your driveline any favours at all.

Personally, I prefer the steady delivery of power from the tune I have. It's much nicer to drive and far more predictable which makes it safer.
