Jesus mate it worries me you need to come onto a forum for that kind of advice. I would have thought your parts list would be settled on a build like this.

But anyway to answer the question I have Plazmaman, great bit of kit and they do have a lot of T's running big hp using their gear. Get on the phone talk to the guys down there see what they can do.

Welcomespoton.gif

1000hp is playing not just with the big boys, but the biggest.

What mods and who is tuning it?

Strip car or dyno queen ?

Sorry but these are the q's that will be asked anyhoo

Would I rely on a workshop to give the advice this chap is chasing. Dont think so. The forums is the first port of call where you will get tremendously valuable advice. Its where most of the workshops worth any salt will go also. The ones that dont are a worry and will just sell you the thing which works out best for them, not best for you.

mate I have the process west cooler and plenum, I run 1044hp at the tyres through a auto on only 27 pound, and 9.9(quickest xr6t ute)

blueboost also ran a off the shelf process west plenum and cooler and ran 9.9 unopened and 9.4 with a built motor

kevin has the results

I relly get dissapointed hearing that an xr6 turbo with 1044 HP at the wheels 778kw can only manage a 9.9 sec pass, not having a go im in a build of one now my self expecting 600kw at the wheels and I would be dissapointed with that time and mph considering I ran a 10.80 @ 128 mph with 342 rwkw 3 years ago.

its way harder to keep power to the ground in a ute mate.

#8

that's 778rwkw to run a 9.9, That doesnt sound right to me either.

I dont think its the extra 70kg in a ute either. Unless you had a 60ft of 3 secs and spun most of the track, then that I could believe.

I dont think they would have had the 1000+hp tune in the car when he ran the 9.9sec pass, it was probably a soft tune. Plus I'm sure they are still in the setup stages of this build so watch what it will run in the end when everything is sorted!

And FPVPSI, mate if your dissappointed in others than up the ante yourself and run a nine, otherwise...

I know you have spent a fair bit of time with at least one of these coolers on one of the falcons from this forum, it's truly an awesome bit of kit and would take some beating.

Big power examples with either of these, so I don't think you'll be dissapointed whatever your choice is.
