Just got an update from my dealer today, my car went into assembly yesterday and should be off the line on the 27th,(cant believe it takes that long)

Your disbelief is warranted - it doesnt! Your dealer, as with most of them, doesn't know his arse from his elbow. PM me your SIDO/Serial and I'll tell you where its at, and even driv...errr...I mean eyeball it for you

But a step down from the BF as far as turbo and bottom end are concerned. How about that.

How about what? its still a Garret turbo with a smaller compressor wheel [that's why its responsive] that turbo is able to handle increased boost that will propel the FG very nicely.

The larger turbo is great for top end or high HP tunes,I would say the bloke wanted the XRT regardless of turbo size.

Whats with the bottem end?? the cranks are the same so are the bearings, arent the pistons and rods an upgrade to the previous model arpart from that I have not seen any engine failure because of the...step down?? What do you think about that?

The standard 19's. They are similar to the XR8 ones just with darker inserts. They look pretty nice. I might change to black FPV rims down the track.

They look really nice! There's a 50th anno XR6 parked right next to the car I might be purchasing in the Harrigan Ford showroom... That orange whatever color it is looks almost like that color the Monaro CV8Z came out in.. Nevertheless Ford made it look a lot better! Yet to see a turbo model but from what the dealer told me and the prices being thrown up on here they are basically a steal!

my 50th anniversay turbo ute in nitro with 6spd manual turning up on the 2/8/10 providing all goes smooth, was in paint last week acording to the dealer, just a quick question do the utes have the blinkers in the mirrors like the sedans?

Nope they dont. Well the pics dont show them to have it. Im not sure if even the F6 Utes have em.

Hey guys, I've also got a 50th XR6 Turbo ute on order. in black with the manual. just sold my ba xr8 yesterday.....hoping I've made the right choice lol.... meant to be going down the line somtime in august, but no idea what date yet.....hopefully soon so I can get to modding lol......
