The Auto's in 5 and 6 speeds have been real nice though.I had the 370z auto last night, its so much better with gearbox noises and sh*t than the manual. Which one you got?

You really have to work the clutch right to avoid the clunk when you let clutch out. Very similar to the T56 such a shame as I was hoping for a bit of refinement coming from my BA.I'm now reading some reports on the Mazda MPS forums about gearbox noises. This is due to the gearbox, tailshaft, diff and CV's all having a small amount of play in them. Each one adds up to clunk in the driveline, as there is no cushoning effect of a torque converter that is in the Autos.I can make my ZF clunk, but the gearboz needs to be locked and I need to backoff then accelorate where I will hear a small clunk.For the price of a 2nd hand FGT, you could get a BF2 F6, which is a great car and already has the Brembos. However, the FG is a big step up on the BA/F. Much better than some hypo FWD torque steer rocket. I would also rather have my baby and wife in Oz metal than poxy jap metal in a crash.
