Anyone attempted the removal of the lower grille on the G6E?

I get what your saying, but I think it can pull it off given it has the sporty lip on the rear and brembo's. Its just that front grille that makes it look odd.

I just had a look at your's wagman, looks good. Is certainly a cheaper option So you think foggies white and not a darker grey like your suggesting with the grille. What about the chrome surrounding the top and bottom grille. Should that be white. Is all this easy to do yourself or best to get spray painter? Anyone got any photoshop skills that can do this ?

Not liking the g6e front bumper as looks out of place. My g6et is quite sporty looking with lowered suspension, dark argent wheels, brembo brakes and rear diffuser painted 50th anniversary grey So thinking of fitting a fpv bumper. Questions are 1. I know they sit a little lower so will this look out of place without the thicker side skirts and rear bar 2. If I choose the f6 Style will the stock cooler be positioned ok to look as it does on a f6, otherwise will go with the gte/f6e style bumper. Cheers

Got a reply from Best Mufflers who do Xforce systems. They said that twin tip will not work on this model due to the higher flow in the high rev range. Now is that because its single into twin? The links I posted above of the SS have single into twin. Waiting on Dillz to reply on what tip he changed too, otherwise I may look at changing the rear muffler to the xr6/xr8 or GT/F6 so I get the twin outlets

I ended up putting the stock one back on and the noise went away. Dunno if I would have this problem with a better quality tip?

The AC in my new G6ET did not work from day 1.(well done ) Anyway they replaced the Condenser/compressor (cant remember). I now have cool air but the following problems 1)Poping noise coming from arm rest/gear sh*tft area. It happens randomly while driving but I have heard it when I turn the car off 2)When going around a corner, I've felt water drip on my leg, so stupid thing has a leak Anyone know what number 1) could be

haha yeah when I had my rapid XR I didnt either.. But now I have white! I've heard if you leave car in the sun, it may bleech it. Will try that

Hi everyone, Ok, you clean your car in summer/spring and then you get a yellow dropping. They are tiny less than 5mm. I dont know if its bird, bee or bug droppings. All I know is if you wipe it off with quick detailer it leaves a yellow spot etched into the clear coat??? This is even while its still fresh... Anyone know how to remove this? Ive tried meguiars paint cleaner, polish, wd40 etc etc. I cant believe how powerfull this sh*t is!, seems to sink right into my clear coat My car has been freshly clayed with 2 coats of nxt2.0 sealant. Shouldnt this be protecting the car from this sh*t! So frustrating

My 43k was on road no trade. I did my research for a long time. Read that someone paid 43 in Brisbane and I knew that was my target. It's all about negotiation and bullsh*tting with the dealer. Maybe I was lucky as most dealers laughed.

I've got 20's all round with 9.5 rears. How can I find out if mine will take the genuine centre caps without buying them. I will post pics of mine after I wash the car on Sunday.

Arronm Were they purchased from fawkner tyres? I think they look good and closely match the Genuine. They have the thin ridge in the spoke. Hopefully mine turn up today

Guys I need some help..quickly..I've ordered and paid for these from Fawkner Tyres and they are shipping tomorrow morning. I did not want 20's on the front due to comfort so I ordered 245/35/19 fronts and 275/30/20 rears. Was told on the fordforums that this is going to affect the DSC and was better off with 245/40/19 on the fronts. But I dont get how that's going to work and not affect the speedo? Help?

I Paid $43K for a white 2010 undriven demo with 12km a month ago.

I could never have justified the extra cost for the 50th. Why would I even try to when I paid $43K for a new undriven demo 2010 and the 50th are what $54K?? I like the seats in the 50th and the rear bar painted silver, but that's about it

Have a brand new G6ET and the stock tip changed yellow. I compared this to my old ba tip in the garage and the ba is stainless silver colour. Anyone know what this could be. Is there something wrong with my engine or cat?? Thanks

I would not have thought changing the tip would give me this cheap nasty sound. The tips must be a piece of sh*t as after driving the car today they have turned yellow and have started to melt the bar!! I aint happy..Taking it back tommorow to get the stock one put back on. Having said that the stock one is yellow too and its only 800km old

They did not pull the exhaust down. I watched them do it.
