I have never 'run' as such but did fail to stop on my bike (cbr1000rr) did pretty much the same thing as you. Stopped out the back of a pub for a beer, then headed off home, when I pulled into my place my mum was there... for insurence purposes my bike was registered to my dad, so when the police pulled up at his workplace and asked him a few questions in front of his staff, well you can guess he was PISSED! needless to say she gave me a warning as to what I was in for when he cought up with me. Never did it again.

To late but enoughs been said. Only advice, well question really. Why is the speed over 10Kph $338 big ones. Read it again and I think you will find its speed over 20kph and that's 4 points, so you may be out of points altogether.

I dont advoicate ppl losing there licences unless they deserve to and rootster actions is one of those border line ones where he will probably never do anything like this again.

Ive just had another look, and if your speed is over 20kph then you just earned 12 points and the RTA will be in touch. Although 5 tickets in one hit is harsh, they can all be summed up in 1 charge which carries a mandatory 2 year disqualification. So in one sense you have been looked after.
