Should I Polish After Using Nxt Tech Wax 2.0

Featured Replies

I have just waxed the whole car with NXT Generation Tech Wax 2.0 and I was wondering whether I should polish the car now ??? because I have 3/4 of turtle ice polish in the shed

would that be a bad idea?

will it remove the wax?

will it be just a waste of time?

thanks guys

the turtle wax ice is good to use.. costs about $30-40 and I barely made a dent in the bottle when I did mine last

Mate the NXT gen is ALL you need. Polish takes a little bit off, wax puts protection on. I sues the NXT gen and its the best polish I ever uesed. 60000ks and no swirls you would say my paint was brand new.

Just make sure you use the Nxt gen car wash. You will feel the difference as son as you apply the first sponge. SILLLLLLKY smooth.

Im no detailer but the order I use is

1. Wash

2. Clay bar

3. Wash again

4. Polish (polishes have different levels of abrasives so depending on the paint condition a less abrasive polish would be best to start with)

5. Wax

That is if you want to go all out but obviously you could skip step 2 and 3 if you don't have the time. Byis basically a sealer and protects the paint and gives extra shine after you have polished. Polishing restores the paint finish taking out any imperfections. By waxing and not polishing first all you are doing is sealing in any imperfections eg. swirls and alike. Hope this helps.
