ZOMG the real issue here is who let a woman have an opinion?

Scotty

LOL!

On the OP's point;

Dad/Partner were in Canberra on business last weekend. On their way down the Federal Highway to give some advice in Sydney, in the section that's divided by scrub with access roads cut between, linking the two road reserves, a 64 year old woman pulled out of said access road (designed for emergency vehicles AFAIK). She pulled out into the oncoming highway traffic without a single thought and was collected by my dad's rental FG, which he manipulated (to not kill everyone) very well, according to the police.

My dad & his partner were saved by the FG's safety features (double airbag deployment) and some quick thinking. The elderly person who caused the accident was hit on the front quarter, and spun into a second contact with the FG, mashing in it's rear quarter. She was seriously injured & airlifted to a Sydney hospital.

Now, why is it that hoons who drop a deserted car park donut in their Yellow R34 Skyline are the biggest danger to road users, and generally the most dangerous criminals in society today? :icon_ford:

Jesus Kael that doesn't look like much fun. Hope the old man is all good...lucky he wasn't in an old sh*tbox (or new indian/chinese sh*tbox) or he probably wouldn't be here to tell the story.

everytime I drive on the freeways of this country...it makes me want to become a highway patrol officer.....Give me an undercover car...and watch me catch people driving in the right hand lane....I think I could write more tickets in one day..than the whole force does in one year...

But then maybe they want it that way.......2 tickets for the price of one....overtaking on kerb side....and speeding....Get those censored.gif losers off the right hand lane please....

Cheers boys.

But yeah, they're fine. Walked away with whiplash & a few bruises..

Highlights another of the actual & convenient to ignore road issues.. :3gears:
