Ba/Bf Lowered Utes

when people are saying "reseting the leafs" what is actually involved are they heated and compressed of some sort or...I am no mechanic so just wondering

Yeah they are put in a furnace until they glow red and then bent over more to whatever ride height you want to the mm.

They may also add say another half size leaf to keep the same spring rate and capacity, or up the capacity if need be. Cheapo jobs they will just heat and bend one end which is bad, you want the whole thing heated and recurved if you go down that path.

Thanks Jman! I'm happy with the rears as they are atm, there's about 20mm clearance on the inside still... Outside just scrubs as I haven't rolled the guards yet. I have no paint left on the underside of my front bar though..

I practically swapped a set of disgusting 19" dinner plate chromies for these at a local wheel/tyre shop. They were just sitting out the back lol. Found a bargain :D
