Qld Police And Qld Transport

So my missus gets pulled up with my 3 kids in the back of the car, and me in the front (pissed) by a Highway patrol car. My missus asked why, and was told for a license chesk, and rego check.

After a bit, a second guy steps out of the patrol car, walks over, and looks in. I questioned him as he wasn'r in a blue shirt, and he stated he was QLD transport and wanted to look under the bonet as my car was, quote "clearly modded".

Upon popping the bonet my wife and I proceded to stand by and watch as the cop was educated on 'modified cars'. For those who don't know, I have a BF with the Process west Street plenum kit (that's right, a f*ck off big process west plenum hanging off the side of my motor). The lesson started with a "these cars when modded have all kinds of sh*t hanging off them, like piping here, pointed to the firewall side of the rocker garnish... "bits of sh*t here", pointing in front of the motor between the radiator and the serpentine belt... "lotsa blue and red plastic pipe here, and here, and here", pointing where all of the standard piping would be. He then proceded to attempt to the copper where a BOV would 'generally be located' on a turbo car, as if they were all on the LEFT HAND SIDE NEAR THE EXHAUST!!!!

Anyway, he then let the police officer know that the car was pretty stock, and was legal, and let us go.

Hope he pulls us up again, as I'd hate to be pulled over by someone who knows what he's talking about.

The QT boys were on the ran tan stopping everything on Depot Road at Sandgate last week. Only problem was it was 9am, and the traffic chaos that they were causing at the school 200 metres away had to be seen to be believed. Talk about "promote safety"!?!?!?!? It was down right dangerous. Sometimes, I wonder.......

A little bit of me wanted to scream in his ear "$6000 and 359rwkw and all you can say is STOCK!!!!" meanwhile the better half managed to keep me restrained. I knew I marrried her for more than just good bedroom performance, pmsl.

Luke, I aven't blocked it up, I'm running the kit I got off you plus the standard BOV. Works well, I get a good toot toot, plus a decent Pstschhhhhh. PMSL (I'm pissed so you have to forgive me)

I have to tee up with kev from process west to get a blank insert for the plenum so I can send you this one.
