New G6et....

I've been a member on here for a while but just to see what all the fuss was about.

Well 6 weeks ago I took delivery of my new G6ET in Velvet with Cashmere interior.

I absolutely love it. I bought it from Etheridge Ford in Melbourne and drove home to Sydney the same day.

What a great way to run a car in. Except for the rain for 500k's of the trip. Got out of the car and didn't even feel tired or stressed after 9 hours of driving. It is easy to see why they were voted car of the year by cars guide. Pity some of the other so called journo's didn't take their blinkers off when doing other awards.

The only thing that I have done is change the window tint as the standard tint just doesn't cut it for me. The only other mod to be done (if at all) will be to lower it a little. But that is all as I am in the process of getting into another toy and that will be where my mod money goes. Bu that's another story.

So I don't get lambasted for not putting up any pics here are a couple to keep you all happy. happy you like it. I know I do.

Well now you know what the fuss is about! Waited quite a while for you first post....but it was worth it.

Very nice Didn't realise how dark that colour was, thought it'd be just another limp-wristed purple colour but am impressed.

As a matter of fact I do. I have just ordered it. I think I will look very suave and debonair in it.

I also got a pipe to go with it. Thought I may as well go all the way.

I dont mind the colour but those Cashmere interiors show up every spec of dirt and can really age the interior if you lack in the areas of cleaniness. Looks nice when new though.

Nice car and colour. I went to 3 Melbourne dealers today, and didn't see that colour anywhere.

Well, after much procrastination I ordered a G6E Turbo today. I had been looking at an XR6 Turbo, but I think the resale might be a problem down the track with the current $37K XR6 special.

I went for Ego, with 19 inch alloys and black interior. Sensational car for the money.

I'll post for pics when I get it......
