How Does It Have More Power?

while having some fun on a friends private property, I ran a friends friend over a couple hundred metres

I have a BA xr6 with extractors and a xr8 back system.

my friends friend had a BA xr6 with cat back exhaust (centre muffler removed),and typhoon air intake.

from the start he kept pulling away more and more.

im finding it hard to understand as a cat back system does minimal performance increase without extractors,and typhoon intake would not make such a difference to keep pulling away.

is he a liar??

One minute there I thought you'd run someone over.

There are so many factors that can lead to one car being faster than another, weight, traction, fuel type etc What we have seen with many of the xr6t's is the varying power outputs seen in essentially stock cars. Just remember that every car and motor is different and some do make more power than others even with the same mods.

If you want to improve your cars performance then get yourself a custom tune and run some good fuel.

yep both autos, both stalled up and took off at same time.

I was running premium from BP (normally run v power or 8000, for some reason I feel I get better response from shell and mobil premium?)

I dunno I guess every car is different.

could be that you need to service youre car because ive relised when I service my car it runs alot better or could be hes lieing and hes got more work done to the car than you think lol

my car was serviced 4000kms ago
