The NA can do the same top speed as the T, though it may take a lil longer to get there. No one should ever be discourged from upgrading the shiity standard brakes that Ford puts on these cars.

Brakes should always be the first upgrade before all the go fast bits.

and the bembros wont fit 17's.

Too right, I've said it before and I'll say it again, Ford and Expensive Daewoo put sh!te brakes on their fat pig cars and they should be the first mod you do. At least the OP isn't one of those tossers that wants to make 600kw but only wants to upgrade his pads. But the stock brakes do look good behind 22" rims :beerchug:

Upgraded brakes are never a bad Idea, but Brembos can be seriously pricey, what about a set of PBR performance series brake kit. Good stopping power without having to sell your first born.

I will have my set of 4 pot brembos for sale after next weekend. Will come with disks, calipers, pads and lines. Traveled 16k.
