Hell yeah Chubz, I'm diggin' that shot hardcore :D

Zap, look up the autobracketing (AEB) function for your camera (it'll have one).

Basically what AEB does is, you set the exposure manually, then it takes one shot at the correct exposure, one at -2 exposure and one at +2 exposure.

That's the only real techo bit of the whole process.

Then Photomatix combines the 3 for you and you play with the Tone Mapping sliders and BAM! That's it.

P.S. I just googled it and apparently the D70 has a BKT button on the back to activate AutoBracketing.

It'd be good if cameras could be set to take more than 3 shots, those pics I posted above all use 5 exposures (-2,-1, 0, +1, +2) and some people even go as far as using 9. It seems a little excessive, but I've never tried it...

My mate has an awesome Leica (sp?) camera and it's default is to take 5 shots ranging from -2 to +2.

I suppose if you had a good tripod, you could just take the 5 shots manually, adjusting the exposure compensation after each shot. Difficult to do without moving the camera AT ALL though. A cable release would be handy here.

I'm with ya man, I'm kind of mesmerized by any good HDR pic I see lol.

Ahhh cool, all related to how much $$$ you spend on the camera I guess.

I've got a cable release, but not a good tripod, so there's still some movement between shots so I just do it all from the one RAW.

I downloaded the program, but the "serial key" wont work?

My camera won't allow WB bracketing in RAW mode, only JPEG, which limits my ability to tweek the image...Bummer...

The Nikon D300 at $2000+ doesn't even allow RAW autobracketing..
