Wheel Scuff

For those in the Canberra region....

Wheel Factory in Queanbean is the way to go. Ray is a bit of a perfectionist - I've had a complete set of Alloys refinshed by them a while back - re-roll a bent one, take out the gouges put in by Bobs in Fyshwick and a couple of parking things that accumulated over a few years - had customs colour and all and they were magic, very very happy.

Wow, they did a good job. They managed to remove that yellow sticker too!! What a releif that must be.. I remember having one of those.

One of my lovely 18's was damaged by someone connected to a Ford dealer but I haven't b**ched too much as they will be replacing it soon. Some spac hit a gutter or something, there was a dirty impact mark on the tyre. I took lots of photos. They owe me a new one, but anything I do myself I'll get repaired, looks really good.

Anyone know of a reputable place in Adelaide that does this? I have a set of original 15" alloys from my EB XR8 that I wouldn't mind having re-conditioned.

There used to be a company called "Wheel Works" I think on South Road, but not sure if they are still operating?

Any help or recommendation would be greatly appreciated...Cheers..J.

That’s really good. I don’t feel so bad about the one on my front. Fixed is definitely better that $550 for a rim. :)

oh yeah, that was my biggest concern!!!

I wonder if anyone has ever had a tyre spin on a wheel...I know they do the same in motor racing, I saw a story on F1...interesting.
