If you're 6'6" I think you will will be more comfortable in the Expensive Daewoo mate.

The F6's is definetely the better value though, remembering it's the Blue Ovals R8/GTS peer

Drive them both mate I think you will be suprised at the power difference. The SS feels like it takes so long to build up speed/power while the F6 is striaght away like a slap in the face.

I'm soon to have a 2nd VE in the garage (clubby probably) and while the ss's look better (more agro and modern) driving one just feels odd after driving BF XR for 2 years. Build quality actually seems worse than the ford (mums 06 'rolla leaves both for dead mind you) to. I suppose I'm above average height (196cm) and build and the driving position in the VE feels very unusual. I guess you would get used to it but. Streets ahead of my GF's VZ, however!

If your that tall, I'd make sure you dont get F6 with sunroof. I once sat in man pants F6 with sun roof and while sunroofs are seriously pimping, my head rubbing on the roof was annoying

I think a well driven XR would chop the SS, F6 isnt realy comparison (perhaps to the HSV's). From memory I get hammered for insurance while my dad and younger bro pay SFA. Same house / garage / similiar values etc

:bum:

Scrap the sunroof if you're tall....unless you enjoy driving in the fully sik position with the seat tilted that far back your arm is hanging out the rear window.

:crybaby: 's

I'm 6'4" & my head juuust rubs on the roof in my car. Trying to race it with a helmet on is impossible unless you lean right forward over the steering wheel :bum:

A normal XR/F6 is a bit better, but you will have more room in the Commo...

I drove both.

I like both.

I own F6.

It is a personal thing and have a mate with a VE Bogan special ; nice but just isn't 'performance orientated' which is saying something (LOL) comparing it to a F6 which isn't really performance orientated (stock) to begin with..

If you plan to do ANYTHING to them other than a TT setup on the SS, mods pay off on the F6 tenfold!

Out of interest, did you ask this question on www.ls1.com.au to get some flip-side feedback?

Otherwise F6.
