November 5, 200817 yr #13 The "I" definitely seems to indicate it means fuel injection http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/archive/I...hp/t-10841.htmlThe internet is never wrong
November 5, 200817 yr #14 some early ba cars had intercoolers from fpv from the factory. they are not actually typhoon coolers but. think mine has an fpv stamp on it..
November 5, 200817 yr #15 You mean like 325i? I was under the impression that the I meant "injected", and in this instance the 3 means 3 series, and the 25 relates to the 2.5L engine. Ze Germanz are tooo efficient to waste ze numberz my friend!Yeah agree on the numbers - 3 means 3 series, 25 means 2.5 etc... However I guess im wrong on the 'I' part then, I had been told that it meant individual meaning optioned... But in this case, I had never looked to back it up, therefore guess I'm wrong this time round! Nice move Gurly... *Swap back puters*
November 5, 200817 yr #16 some early ba cars had intercoolers from fpv from the factory. they are not actually typhoon coolers but. think mine has an fpv stamp on it..I think all of the coolers have FPV on them.Noticed on the weekend that my exhaust hangers even had FPV embossed on them...
November 5, 200817 yr #17 so by your logic any BMW without the I must still be running a carby yup! Test the theory out! Obviously things like the M, X, and Z series don't count - that's cheating. Just the normal 1, 3, 5 and 7 series cars I guess.
