I am in love...That sounds fantastic. It really makes me want to put my cams in. Who cares if it doesn't give me much of a gain..... The lump is more than worth it..

Hey Dus12, I assume by the previous posts that you have a set of big cams. I messaged Dave a month back and asked him about tuning my manual T with the big set of Atomic cams that used to belong to "Youngy" in W.A. Dave recommended that I do not run them. Could you please give me an indication as to the drivability of the car eg:- what gear is required for 60km/h speed zones? Do you have any problems at cruising speed (100km/h)? Does it have any idle or cold start problems? Any advice that you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Regards Brad

I had a set of cams in mine, 287's. would cruise fine, even at 100km/h, never had any problems, and didnt sound too bad.

PS, that thing sounds awesome ;)

yea roo 16 again. only did a baby pump fuel tune somewhere betweek 400 and 450kw I think, then we went to race fuel and started reaching a torque limit on the dyno I believe

dave should be able to clear it up for me, so I put it on a different dyno to check it and it went 759hp on 21.3 pound and I believe it was only 12 or 13 degrees timing too, so there is a bit left in it yet

That is a very promising result Kent,

It will be interesting to see how far you go with this thing, that is alot of power and torque through an auto and converter LOL, I gather by the photo's you are running a 47R, if you are, at 21psi you are no where near it's potential mate.
