Haven't you ever been through the tunnel before?

We're always giving it a boot through the tunnel and reaching speeds of 130+ never once been caught..

What made him realise the expired rego? Not a friendly man in a blue uniform?

re: camera - I've never noticed it before. Was always one further down near Terramurra or whatever it's called (going up the hill) , but haven't been through there for ages and it's probably bypassed now anyway?

But heading northbound there's almost always a mobile camera just out of the tunnel...just saying "welcome to Qld, here's a taste of what's yet to come"

The camera is actually on the NSW side of the fence.. Been operational since day 1 the tunnel opened.

Is it speed or traffic/surveillance? Might be just scanning for frogs?

Was speed.. Again this is years back.. Today tonight had a good crack at ridiculing it and like all new speed cameras and tunnels it had 'software issues' and was taken down for a while.. I was sure on my last trip through the tunnel in 2010 that there were signs pointing to it..

And the cameras for frogs are under the road in their special little underpasses.. Motion activated too.. Duh..

I'm looking at having my car on display at the Jamboree Show & Shine this weekend. In speaking with Ray from Sports Compact they haven't had the greatest of turn outs for it. Would anyone be keen on getting a few cars together for it?
