Well thinking for the Alpine Cruise possibly over the weekend Sat 15 Jan - Sun 16 Jan. That sort of misses the New Years holiday makers and gets in before the Australia Day holiday makers. I've looked at the prices in Bright and they're a bit astronomical that time of year cos Bright is so well marked out on the tourist maps. So thinking of staying at the Buffalo Motel and Country Retreat in Porepunkah at the foot hills of Mt Buffalo. Prolly cost about $130 per night for a twin room but the place looks decent - prolly a bit more up market then your regular country motel.

Man I still remember those roads in Tassie. If it just wasn't so hard to get over there - I reckon they have some of the best roads over there.

Rudiger and I are thinkin of doing the Healesville - Black Spur - Marysville (lunch) - Reefton Spur - Warbuton cruise as the Christmas Cruise this year. It's also one of my faves because it is so close to home and all on sealed roads. Not sure what date to choose in December if there is any interest. Thoughts guys?

I'm also sussing out the Great Alpine Cruise (named after the Great Alpine Road that we would follow). I learned today that you can do a circuit between Falls Creek and Mt Hotham because they only sealed the bit between Falls Creek and Omeo last November possibly. Most maps will show it unsealed it's that recent anyway. So thinkin maybe we could do it over 2 days one weekend in March. Want to avoid the busy Labor Day holiday weekend because roads will be clogged and accomodation expensive. Thinkin about Sat/Sun weekend 19-20 Mar or 26-27 Mar - any interest?

where are the local meet points around melbs, I wanna take my tornado for a spin down there. theres just no car scene up here in albury.

whats a melb facebook page to keep up to date with any cruises and meets? dosent have to be ford specific its fun blowing any car away

I guess there's nothing stopping anyone from making a page, but this site won't be a part of it. It would also be watched by the police.

In the end the page would be full of the wrong kind of people, like the kind that were involved in that Bob Jane incident.

I know you've got good intentions, but it just wouldn't be worth the trouble IMO.
