It should be alright by tomorrow. I haven't shocked it or balanced it for a month or more and it had plenty of beetles, wasps, bees and the like drowned in it.

 

For reference I use about a cup of chlorine once a week to top it up once it's balanced plus the floater has a couple of tablets and it's fully open. I put in nearly 4 cups yesterday as I figured it will get through it pretty quick.

 

The ph is good so I'll check it tomorrow, fix the ph if necessary and give it another vacuum.
