Anyone computer minded able to tell me whether there is a significant difference between brand name micro SD cards?

Ie: brand less one for $50 vs branded for $150?

warranty and logevity (amount of writes per expected lifetime).

For almost every consumer level user, there's no significant difference. (other than the price, of course).

I want it for my new phone..

Probably be for bulk data storage like videos etc..

I could always pay the same price for a name brand one and settle for 64gig..

128 just seemed nicer..

128gig is overkill haha, unless your new phone only has a small amount of spare memory on it.

Pffft...no such thing as too much storage.

Doesn't take much to fill-up 64 gig if you're syncing your music library

But a few seasons of different tv shows torrenting straight to the phone will fill it quick..
